Tell us in the comments section, or over on our Facebook page – there may even be a prize in it for you this time…

Next Event: Weds 9th July

Posted on

Good news, storytelling fans! Our next show is on Wednesday 9th July at The Crofters Rights, so you have time to think of whether you’ll bring us a song about your fridge contents, a poem about your cat, an illustration of your favourite coffee spot or a short story you wrote whilst you were on jury duty.

Mark the date in your diary now, and let us know that you’re coming and if you’re telling a story on our Facebook page.

In the mean time, if you’re missing Will and his lyrical prowess, here he is with a ditty about rambling.

May 1st Event: Corporate Bullsh*t

Posted on Updated on

We’ve all had to endure management speak, training days, team building, office politics and water cooler gossip. Now is your chance to tell us the best and worst of your office experiences, in whatever way you see fit.

Regale us with tales of your worst interview, sing us a song about that ill-fated office romance, or maybe just draw us a really nice pie chart.

However, the theme is NOT COMPULSORY, so feel free to bring along any stories or creative work you want to share, or just come along to be entertained.

Optional dress code: disgruntled office worker.

The next storytelling event has been confirmed for Wednesday 19th February, and we will be bringing a Film Noir theme to The Crofter’s Rights from 7pm!

Expect fedora hats, hip flasks, tiny pistols, braces, cagey detectives and shifty broads – along with some fun games and clever songs from your host.

The theme is not compulsory – feel free to dress up and tell your own crime or detective story, or just entertain us with any other fun anecdotes, songs or poems you want to share.

Tell your friends, prepare your stories and we’ll see you on the 19th!
